Introversion and the Writing Process

It affects your work more than you think

As an introvert, simplicity appeals to me. So does carving out ample time to separate myself from the world and all its demands.

I must be in the mood to write, and when I’m not, I avoid it, choosing instead to conserve my energy.

My first instinct is to shelve the work and step away for a bit. But I have deadlines to consider, so I can’t just push the tasks off until I’m in a more conducive writing space.
