Introversion and the Writing Process
As an introvert, simplicity appeals to me. So does carving out ample time to separate myself from the world and all its demands.
I must be in the mood to write, and when I’m not, I avoid it, choosing instead to conserve my energy.
My first instinct is to shelve the work and step away for a bit. But I have deadlines to consider, so I can’t just push the tasks off until I’m in a more conducive writing space.
